September 4, 2026

Performance Fabric Planning for 2027 Collections

For 2027 swimwear and activewear development, fabric selection should begin with the intended garment, target weight, construction, stretch requirement and end-use performance. The five SEVNNA TEXTILE programs below cover distinct directions for running tops, resort swimwear, competition swimwear and substantial activewear. Each article is presented with its verified composition, weight, width and supplied functions so design and sourcing teams can compare options clearly.

1. SP7915 — Running & Training Series

SP7915 is a 75GSM ultra-lightweight stretch fabric made from 64% polyamide and 36% LYCRA SPORT, with a 155CM width. It is positioned for lightweight running tops and training garments where low fabric weight and flexible movement are important.

  • UPF 30+
  • Wicking management
  • Anti-microbial function
  • Pilling resistance and anti-snagging

2. RN-2776 — Swim & Resort Series

RN-2776 combines 94% recycled nylon with 6% spandex at 310GSM and 110CM width. Its floral relief surface creates a clearly visible dimensional effect for swimwear and resort collections that need texture as a design feature.

  • Knitted textured construction
  • Neon bright colour direction
  • Ink-jet digital print development available

3. RN-2781 — Luxury Swim & Resort Series

RN-2781 is a 320GSM fabric made from 99% recycled nylon and 1% spandex, with an 85CM width. The sculpted rib and seersucker appearance offers a pronounced surface for luxury swim and resort silhouettes.

4. SP7616 — Competition Swim Series

SP7616 is a 190GSM warp-knitted tricot made from 52% recycled PBT and 48% polyester, with a 150CM width. Its ribbed texture and supplied colourfastness-to-chlorine-water performance make it a focused option for competition swimwear and water-sports garments.

  • High colourfastness to chlorine water
  • RapidDry technique
  • Intended for wetsuits and rash guards

5. SP7054 — Leggings & Activewear Series
